CARROLLTON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dominion Parenting Media (DPM), publishers of eight parenting magazines and Web sites in major cities nationwide and a division of Dominion Enterprises, has received 14 awards in the Parenting Publications of America (PPA) 2010 Editorial and Design Awards Competition, including 8 gold awards for excellence.

These honors, presented during PPA’s Annual Convention in Charlotte, NC, on March 6, 2010, continue a long run of editorial/design awards won by DPM publications each year. PPA is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit national organization representing more than 110 parenting publications in the United States, Canada and Australia (www.parentingpublications.org).

The PPA competition recognizes excellence in journalism, photography and design at its member publications. Judges, overseen by the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism, reviewed 1,026 entries to choose 408 winners across various categories and circulation levels.
