| | Dominion Parenting Media Launches New Digital Magazine Format - Monday, October 15, 2007
Dominion Parenting Media, a Dominion Enterprises company, launches new digital magazine versions of their 8 regional parenting titles.
The new digital magazine offering, powered by FlashEdition.com, is part of a new initiative by Dominion Distribution to expand their publication distribution capabilities to the internet, and introduces user-friendly features such as keyword searching, quick links to contents and advertisers, and even special article pages that can be converted to Spanish - all of which lead to a more reader-friendly experience. Built around the latest Adobe Flash technology, online readers no longer have to download and install third-party proprietary software to view the magazines, which also works with all major operating systems, including both MACs and PCs.
Tom Gonzales, General Manager of Parenthood.com and the project manager for the conversion to the new format, was quoted as saying, "We're very happy with the new format and the ability to extend our print distribution to a whole new potential audience. We're also very anxious to show our existing print and online advertisers how they can utilize the new digital magazine format to deliver rich media advertising that will help to augment their existing advertising campaigns."
